Bikes in the Canals

A machine goes through the canals scooping up the bikes that line the canal floor. Every time the arm goes in it collects a large handfull of bikes probably dumped from junkies if they can't sell them off for a few euros.

Double bass.

A contrabas player in leidseplein Amsterdam as a tram passes him.

Rootless Tree.

A tree sits sideways in Vondel park amsterdam.

Blue stair case

Canals of Amsterdam

A classic tourist picture of Amsterdam's canals. The day was just ending and I had just got a new bike so I could explore the city. There's so much more to the city then smoking weed in the red light district.

Tunnels

The underground tunnel system they were building. Used for a quick escape from the kitchen area to the turrent tower were the rope walks spread out into the trees. The guy would dig all night so he was hidden by the dark. Bucket by bucket pulled out on the rail system he had made in a area just big enough for his body. It remminded me of the tunnel rats in ww11.
